Rethink the Ratio
In 2017, only 2% of VC funding went to women-led companies. Over the years, Uber has empowered more than one million female entrepreneurs to earn on their terms, so we decided it was time to #RethinkTheRatio. Together with Girlboss, Uber launched UberPitch—a pitch competition focused on removing barriers and providing tools, mentorship, and $220,000 in funding to female entrepreneurs.
To kick off the campaign, we conducted a social experiment where we asked real female entrepreneurs to choose who they thought was the boss and their response might surprise you.
